À¶ÄñÊÓƵis a proud Industry Partner of the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child.  The of the Centre took place on the 21st September 2022. The event celebrated the Digital Child and set expectations about the values the Centre holds with the voices of children at its heart.

The Centre’s is now available, charting its achievements in its establishment year, as it built the foundation for delivering its vision: Australian children, healthy, educated and connected.

Highlights presented in the report include:

  • welcoming to the Centre
  • establishing the Centre : Taryn Marks (Chair), Professor Barbara Comber AM, Emeritus Professor Paul Chandler and Megan Mitchell AM
  • establishing four committees (, , and Committees)
  • developing the , facilitated by Mark Douglas (Ethos Consulting) in wide collaboration with all members and partners
  • establishing that demonstrate strong transdisciplinary and cross-nodal focus
  • making a commitment to positively embed and advocate for across research and activities with the appointment of Dr Marnee Shay as Indigenous Advisor
  • securing a $544,400 , a Centre partner
  • celebrating with a series of public and internal events
  • launching the with five public seminars on the topic of socio-materiality in a digital age
  • building a that is inclusive, collaborative, supportive and respectful, including the establishment of three Centre Clubs and weekly online catchups
