This year’s National Reconciliation Week celebrates the 20th anniversary of the reconciliation walks across bridges and down roads where the Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples of this land now known as Australia came together showing their support for a more progressive society working towards reconciliation. So, it is only apt that this year’s theme nods towards this momentous point of time in our shared histories as we continue to work towards reconciliation. #InThisTogether

As an association, À¶ÄñÊÓƵalso continues to work towards this common goal with the release of 'A statement of reconciliation' at the 2018 Annual Conference held in Sydney. We continue to recognise that these lands have never been ceded and acknowledge the knowledges, traditions and leadership undertaken by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this process. During this week, we encourage you to revisit the statement of reconciliation and the commitments made and seek ways to progress the work.
